We are a family run Teashop situated next to the magnificent Aysgarth Falls in beautiful Wensleydale.
... Covid-19 Reopening Update ... We are now open again following lockdown due to Covid-19. Our opening hours are as follows:-
Monday to Sunday 12 until 4
We are open with only a very limited number of tables available inside with a maximum of 4 people to a table. We still have a large selection of baking, scones, sandwiches, hot drinks available to takeaway if a table is not free when you visit.
We will NOT be taking table bookings during this time, sorry.
Face coverings must be worn at all times inside the teashop except for when you are sat at a table. Track and Trace details must be given prior to being sat at a table, you will not be able to sit down without providing details or checking in via the NHS app.
Due to us being a very small Teashop, maximum number of people to a table is 4. Anything above this is at the discretion of staff. Tables and chairs must not be moved.
Thank you for understanding as we try to safely navigate our way through these strange times.
Our pre-ordered Picnic Bags are still available.
... Car Parking ... Unfortunately, due to the location of the the Teashop we do not have any parking available for customers. We would recommend customers park in the National Parks Car Park (post code DL8 3TH) and to park in the bottom half of the car park. There is a short footpath from here to the Teashop. If there are mobility issues, it is possible to 'drop off' outside the Teashop.
... Muddy Boots and Dogs Welcome ...
Our Teashop is located within Yore Mill, which was originally built in 1784, and overlooks the River Ure by the Upper Falls. In Spring 2020 building work will begin on developing Yore Mill, the Teashop will be open throughout the building works.
We use locally sourced ingredients and traditional family recipes. We are able to cater for those on a Gluten Free diet.
